Most library resources and services are available to all students enrolled in courses through Kansas State University, whether you're on or off campus! Nearly every online database, ejournal, or ebook can be accessed from off-campus using your K-State eID and password.
Book and article delivery options are also available.
Interlibrary Loan
Using Interlibrary Loan, remote users have access not only to K-State Libraries' materials, but also the print and electronic holdings at libraries around the world. Articles and book chapters up to 50 pages can be delivered electronically.
You may have physical items such as books or videos shipped to you as well. These materials typically take between 4 and 12 days via UPS to arrive at your location. Unfortunately, we can not overnight materials.
Access Library Resources
Distance students can access library resources anywhere you have an internet connection by entering your K-State eID and password when prompted.
- Databases (electronic materials like journal articles, ebooks, and book chapters)

Citation Linker will search through our journals and databases to find the full text using citation information.
Proxy Bookmarklet provides access to licensed (subscribed) library resources from off-campus by prompting users for their eid and password.
Zotero is a citation software systems that can help you keep track of citations and manage your bibliographies. You can learn more about citations and bibliographies in our research guides.
