Innovation and Inspiration: The Campaign for Kansas University

Campus Aerial Views, 1931-1984

Since KSU was founded as the Kansas State Agricultural College in 1863, the library has played an important role in preserving the history of the institution. Although no archives existed during their tenure, former college historians Julius T. Willard, Charles M. Correll, and James C. Carey were instrumental in assembling important historical records from offices and individuals on campus and placing them in the library.
