The Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies provides access to a wide range of materials relating to multiculturalism and diversity. Due to an accidental fire occuring May 22nd, Hale Library remains closed until restoration and renovation are complete. The "We are the Dream" mural will be salvaged, cleaned, and stored until it can be reinstalled. Visit our Hale Library recovery blog to read more about the preservation process of this iconic mural.

To provide a space for students, faculty, staff and the community to explore human diversity, the changing landscape of American demographics, and the impact of globalization.
Vision
The Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies hopes to be a relevant and useful service to advance a deep and meaningful understanding of multiculturalism and diversity in order to create mutual awareness, respect and open a pathway for dialog.
The Dow Endowment, established by Dow Chemical Company in 2001 and used at the discretion of the Dean of Libraries, supports library acquisitions, professional development, and multicultural programming on campus and in the community for which the K-State Libraries is sponsor or co-sponsor.
Funds are made available upon request through the sponsorship application form.
