Assignment Planner - Use this virtual planner to add your assignments, set due dates, do research and get help to get your projects in on time.
Citations and Bibliographies - Citing the resource consulted and quoted is key to avoid plagiarism. Use these resources to better understand the process and to learn more about citation, in general.
Class and Research Guides - Check out the guides we've created to help with common class assignments. (Don't see a guide for your assignment? Let us know and we'll work with your instructor to make one.)
Databases - The libraries offer hundreds of databases for researchers to find journals, magazines, newspaper articles, electronic books, dissertations, book chapters and much more.
Interlibrary Loan - Use Interlibrary Loan to borrow materials from other universities or colleges.
My Library Account - Login to your official university account. From your account you will be able to view your current and past loans, requests, as well as fines and fees for late items.
Writing Center - A great resource for researchers to make their writing Professor's or Print ready. It helps students gain awareness of Writing Strategies, and improve Overall Writing Quality on class assignments or non-academic writings.
Computer Availability - There are 200 PC and 35 Mac computers available on floors one through four of Hale Library. They are available during operating hours and may vary.

Printing - How to print and how much it costs at Hale Library.
Quiet Areas and Group Study - Hale Library is split into floors with varying levels of volume. The first floor is a quiet speaking area. The second and fourth floors are dedicated to group study areas and the third floor is a quiet zone.
Reserve Rooms - Hale Library offer rooms which can be reserved for meetings and group or individual study.
Stack Guide - The "stacks" are the areas in a library where books are shelved. Use the stack guide to help you find your materials quickly and efficiently.
MS-Office - Office 365 ProPlus, a collaboration service allows K-State faculty, staff, and students to install Microsoft Office desktop applications for free on up to 5 PCs or Macs, and on up to 5 mobile devices.
Read and Write - A comprehensive productivity tool designed to support reading, writing, studying and research.
Softwares in the Computing Labs and Infocommons - Hundreds of computers are available (PCs and Macs), with a variety of software, limited free printing and wireless printing from lab computers and personal laptops.

Trend Micro Antivirus - A free antivirus software that Kansas State University requires for all computers connecting to the University’s network.
3D Printers - Media Development Center (MDC) offers a 3D Printing Studio with resources of a full suite of 3D Fabrication and Modeling technologies.
Crossing Border - An Interdesciplinary Journal of Undergraduate Research, seeks to develop interdisciplinary research among undergraduate students.
Kirmser Undergraduate Research Award - The Kirmser Research Award is given to an undergraduate student who exemplifies outstanding scholarship through research. There is a grand prize of $1,000 for each of the individual categories, and a minimum of $2,000 for the group category.
Morse Scholorship Award - Created through Morse Family Endowment, Annual award of $ 3,000 supports undergraduate work particularly focused on project that involves community service and has the potential to impact public policy.
