Center - Academic provides bibliographic references, abstracts
and full text for excerpts and articles from a variety of health publications. Material includes a medical dictionary;
medical directories and reference books; consumer-oriented and professional
health periodicals; and pamphlets issued by leading health organizations.
The periodical material is augmented by specially selected health articles
from general-interest, business and specialty publications.
LEXIS/NEXIS Academic Universe is the Web version of Lexis/Nexis. It is composed of a wide variety of materials including full-text legal, news and business databases as well as U.S. and international newspapers, magazines, wire services, newsletters, journals, company and industry analyst reports, and broadcast transcripts. Of particular interest is the New York Times, June 1980 - to date. Another 1000 sources include abstracts only.

January 1987 - date. PerAbs includes over 800,000 abstracts describing articles from more than 1,500 scholarly and general-interest publications. It also offers full-text availability for some of the articles and includes library holdings of all records. Subject areas include: business, culture, economics, history, literature, psychology, religion, sociology, and women's studies.
1967 to date; Updated monthly. PsycINFO is produced by the American Psychological Association and contains citations and abstracts of the world's literature in psychology, behavioral sciences, and related subjects. It includes citations to journal articles scanned from more than 1800 journal titles, technical reports, and dissertations of psychological relevance from more than 50 countries. PsycINFO does include some books and book chapters published during the 1960's and into the early to mid 1980's. PsycBooks has records for more recently published books and book chapters. Approximately 50% of the articles selected for inclusion in PsycINFO are published outside the United States; 10% are in a language other than English.
