Position Responsibilities:
- Works with KSUL and other university professionals building multi-disciplinary and/or multi-institutional efforts dedicated to special collections and services in the public interest;
- Offers assistance to library and associated faculty in identifying and writing proposals for grants, contracts and cooperative agreements;
- Develops initiatives for university-wide collaboration in intellectual content management that involve metadata standardization, information/data harvesting and coordinated repository development;
- Contributes to projects and activities that establish the library as a center of public cultural programming and civic dialog;
- Conducts research aimed at optimizing scholarly information resource discovery for interdisciplinary research populations.
