K-State Libraries
Community Services

K-State Libraries are proud to serve the citizens of Manhattan and surrounding communities. Part of our mission as a Land Grant Institution is to serve Kansas residents whether or not they are affiliated with the University in an official capacity. For answers to frequently asked questions about the Libraries' services for our community patrons, browse the "How do I..." box on the right.

For more information about the resources and services available to all Kansas residents, explore the links below. Questions? Please feel free to contact us.

Resources

K-State Libraries are unable to offer community patrons who are not current K-State students or employees access from off-campus to many of the online journals and databases that we subscribe to. However, community patrons who come to campus can access most of these resources from public computers in Hale Library.

Some resources K-State Libraries use are available to Kansas residents or freely available to anyone. See below for more information and links to access those resources.
