Collection Management

Collection management supports the teaching, research, and services activities of the University by identifying, developing, managing and preserving the collections of K-State Libraries. Components of collection management include: budgeting, selection and deselection, evaluation, preservation, and the development of policies and procedures related to these activities.

This work is largely overseen by Content Development Librarians in consultation with librarians in the departments of Undergraduate & Community Services and Faculty & Graduate Services.
