The purpose of the Dean's Award is to recognize exceptional contributions to K-State Libraries by non-tenure track professional staff. The award, presented annually, consists of a monetary gift and a plaque engraved with the recipient's name. The plaque will be displayed in Hale Library.
This Year's Winner
Julie Bell, Systems Administrator, is the 2016 Dean’s Award winner. According to her nominator, “Julie has worked many years in a field where new trends, technologies, and security concerns emerge almost daily. Despite these challenges, she balances an immense workload and has served the Libraries through interim departmental supervisor, mentoring and infrastructure improvements. She remains dedicated, and her positive attitude is infectious.
