The LIST unit is responsible for providing desktop support to K-State Libraries staff desktop computing equipment (approximately 250 machines). 

Description of duties: 

  1. Assist library staff with computer issues - on the phone and in person 
  2. Maintain shared machines, check out laptops and public scanners 
  3. Plan and carry out projects such as imaging, software installation, inventory and documentation 

**All these steps will be taught to the successful applicant

Required Skills: 

  1. Computer troubleshooting experience 
  2. Customer service skills 
  3. Ability to work independently

Helpful Skills: 

  1. Comfortable in multiple OS environments (Mac, Windows) 
  2. Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite 
  3. Technical writing 


1 position available - 10-20 hours per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 11:00am - 2:00pm
