You may renew books in person at a service desk and online in your My Library Account. If your office or lab is on campus, consider the Renew It program. Please return borrowed material to designated return areas.

Fines and fees
In some cases, you may be fined for not returning library materials by the due date. Additionally, borrowers are responsible for all lost or damaged materials.

Replacement costs
Once a book has been declared lost, you will be charged $100 for the item. This applies to items borrowed from K-State Libraries and Interlibrary Loan. We are unable to accept replacement copies.
Paying fines
You may pay fines by cash (exact amount only), check, credit or debit card at the Library Help desk on the second floor of Hale Library. You may also pay online through your My Library Account. Checks made out to K-State Libraries can be mailed to:
