Not sure where to start?

If you need to find out if K-State Libraries have a book, journal, video, CD, etc. that you need, and you know its name, go to K-State Libraries' Online Catalog, and do a Simple Search. We recommend searching by:

  • Title (example - Call of the Wild)
  • Author (example - Twain Mark)

NOTE: The catalog is NOT used to find journal articles.

To find a journal article, use a database. We recommend starting with Expanded Academic ASAP. It:

  • is user-friendly
  • has many full-text online articles
  • offers the option to e-mail articles to yourself

If you want to find out if the journal you need is available full-text online, go to E-Journals and search by journal title to see if it's listed and which databases might have it available.
