How do I find market share information?
Market share is defined as: percentage of industry sales of a particular
company or product. (Barron's Dictionary of Business Terms.
2000. 3rd ed.)

Search by company (view tutorial):
- Enter the company name in the search box and click the green Search button.
- Select the appropriate company name from the list of results.
- Click the Rankings tab (if there are no rankings available for your company, this tab will be grayed out).
- Once you get to the Rankings page, there may be two sub tabs located directly below the Rankings tab (Business Rankings and Market Share).
- Click the Market Share tab.
Search by industry (view tutorial):
- If looking for industry rankings, search by industry description or SIC code.
- Click the Industry button and type either the SIC code or the industry descriptor in the appropriate box.
- If you typed the industry description, select the appropriate link from the listed results.
- Click the Rankings tab, then the Market Share tab.
Advanced Search:
- Select Rankings from the dropdown menu adjacent to Content Area.
- Enter the search term (company name, SIC code, industry description) and select the appropriate field from the dropdown menu.
- Enter Market Share Reporter (enter World Market Share Reporter if you are looking for international coverage) in the next box and select Source from the dropdown menu.
