LinkIt
Linking and Sharing articles from K-State Libraries

You can use the tool below when you need to create links to articles found in K-State Libraries' article databases or electronic journals that will work off-campus. It will modify links so that K-State students, faculty, and staff can open articles from off-campus.

  1. When you find an article in a database, look for a link that says "Permalink," "Persistent URL," or "Link to this Article" (see examples here).
  2. Paste the full link (including http://) from the database in the first text box, click the "generate link" button, and a link will be generated in the second box.
  3. Copy and paste that link into a K-State Online document or otherwise share it with your students or colleagues.
