This portal is a joint effort of K-State Libraries, the K-State Grain Science and Industry Department, the K-State Animal Science and Industry Department, and the K-State Agronomy Department, and the K-State College of Veterinary Medicine.

AgNIC, the Agriculture Network Information Center , is a voluntary alliance of the National Agricultural Library, land-grant universities, and other organizations committed to facilitate a public access to agricultural and related information. AgNIC is committed to provide quality academic, research, and practical resources in electronic format via the world wide web.

Kansas Wildflowers and Grasses : This site contains information and more than 2900 identification photos for some 575 species of forbs, grasses, sedges, rushes, and woody plants that are found growing in Kansas . All photographs were taken by Mike Haddock unless otherwise noted.

Kansas Rangelands : Kansas State University is an active member of the Western Rangelands Partnership, a collaborative initiative with participants from nineteen western states. The mission of Rangelands West is to deliver quality information, resources, and tools to improve management and ensure sustainability of western rangelands.

Grain Milling and Processing : This site is devoted to milling and processing of cereal grains and their use in baking, animal feed production, and industrial applications. Grain Milling and Processing was created by K-State Libraries in collaboration with the K-State Grain Science and Industry Department.

Beef Cattle : This web site includes resources related to beef cattle behavior, management and well-being; breeding and genetics; buildings and equipment; health; marketing; nutrition; physiology; and meat science. It is a collaborative effort between K-State Libraries, the Beef Cattle Institute at Kansas State University, the K-State Animal Sciences & Industry Department, and the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
