Purchase Recommendation Form

Are there books, journals, databases or other materials you would like to see added to the Libraries' collection? You can let us know in one of two ways:

Instructions

Rush/Priority

Orders are generally received in 3-6 weeks. However, some requests may take much longer to fulfill (especially materials published prior to the current calendar year, out of print titles, or esoteric items). Additional time is required to catalog items once they are received. If you need the item very quickly for a current class or research project, indicate RUSH or PRIORITY under Additional Information below.

Hold for Requestor

If you wish the item to be held for you at either the Hale or branch libraries' circulation desk, click yes under "Hold for me" on the request form, or include that information on your request. You will be notified when the item is ready for checkout.

Reserves

If you wish to order an item for reserve, contact Reserves. They will forward the order to the Content Development and Acquisitions department after completing preliminary reserves processing.
