In process: What do I do if the catalog says “in process?”
When an item in the catalog is marked "In Process" it means that it is either at Hale Library at the Manhattan campus or at the K-State at Salina Library, but has not been fully labeled and/or cataloged. If you see this designation on an item you need, you should:
- click on the "Place a Request" link to the right of the catalog record
- sign in with your eID and password
- fill out and submit an "In process" request.
This will speed up the cataloging process for this item, and place a hold for you at the same time. We will alert you via email when your item is ready to be picked up at Library Help on the 2nd floor of Hale Library or at the K-State at Salina Library help desk. This process usually takes two or three days.
