Printing: How do I print single-sided?

By default, the black/white printers in the university's InfoCommons at Hale Library will print on both sides of every sheet. However, if you want to print single-sided using the InfoCommons computers, here is how you can do it from the print-options screen:

Windows computers:

1) In some programs like Microsoft Word, Excel or Adobe's PDF reader, there is an option to change the printer settings by selecting "Print One Sided" or un-checking "Print on both sides of paper" on the print-options screen.
OR
2) In all programs you will be able to select "Properties" or "Printer Properties" on the print-options screen. This will open a new window with more options.

Mac computers:
1)
In programs like Adobe's PDF reader, there is the option to uncheck "Two-Sided" on the print-options screen.
OR
2) In all programs, you will be able to change the "Presets" for printing and manually select the "Default Settings" option in order to print single-sided.
