Purpose: To outline those call numbers that determine the cataloged location of an item.

Note: None of the following call numbers should be processed for Hale Stacks and should be changed without question to the locations indicated below. Place a flyer in the item for the proper location and complete processing. If any item in the following categories contains a flyer for a location that is different than the location prescribed in this document, check with your cataloging team leader.

1. M2 and M3 call numbers are automatically processed for the Music Scores Collection (mus scor)

2. NA call numbers are automatically processed for the Architecture Library (arch)

3. PZ5-PZ9999 call numbers are automatically processed for the Juvenile Literature Collection (juv), unless they are audiovisual or have a branch location flyer in them.
