The Home Economics Association was founded in 1924. In 1930, to honor Margaret Justin the name was changed to the Margaret M. Justin Home Economics Club. The purpose of the club is to provide an opportunity for fellowship among home economics students, interpret the purpose and functions of home economics, to promote the development of home economics in other countires, provide professional development opportunities and work for the improved status of the home.
