This collection consists primarily of facsimile reprint editions of scarce to rare anti-slavery publications. Negro Universities Press published this series to make titles more accessible to libraries. Today, these titles are highly collectible as most of the titles did, indeed, become part of library collections. [Note: Negro Universities Press is abbreviated throughout as NUP.]
