Introduction

The Stephen R. Bollman Collection was donated to the University Archives in 1985 and contains 1.5 cubic feet of material pertaining to various Native American issues in the area, focused primarily on the years between 1971 and 1973. Issues from several newspapers (Akwesasne Notes, Prairie Band Drummer, The Saint Mary's Star, and The Warpath) from the same time period were transferred to the Minorities Research & Resource Center in Hale Library.
