Raymond Montrose Williams was born on 15 Sep 1902, the son of Nora Williams. He graduated from Lincoln High School, Kansas City, KS, in 1919.

On 08 Sep 1919 he entered K-State, pursuing an education in veterinary medicine. He listed Rosedale, KS, as his permanent address. He was a member of the ROTC band in 1920. In 1922, he was excused from participation in military science and physical education on account of physical disability.

He lived at 618 Yuma his first year, before moving to the Phi Beta Sigma Chapter House, 1020 Colorado, for the remainder of his college education.

He graduated from K-State on 29 May 1924, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In 1930, he was working as a veterinarian in a packing house in Kansas City, MO, living with his wife, Alice, and son, Raymond. He worked with the meat inspection division of the USDA for 46 years. He worked in Kansas City, Denver, St Louis, and Chicago.

Raymond Williams died in Sep 1973, and while his last residence is not listed in the Social Security Death Index, there is a note that his SSN was issued in Illinois. His son, Raymond Crawford Williams, graduated from K-State in 1946, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
