David Howard Robinson was born on 17 Aug 1905 in Oklahoma, the son of John and Dollie Robinson. His mother died between 1910 and 1920. His siblings included Lee Ella, Zack, and JD. He graduated from the Manual Training High School in 1925.
On 02 Feb 1926, he entered K-State, studying agriculture. He attended for a year and a half, including the summer sessions of 1926 and 1927, which was his last semester.
He lived in the Phi Beta Sigma Chapter House, 1020 Colorado, while attending K-State.
During the 1930 census, he was listed as the farm manager at Lincoln Academy, Crowder Mountain, NC. His bride, Eleanor, was a dormitory matron.
A David Robinson died in Union, North Carolina, on 24 Feb 1933, but he is listed as being 29 years old, so this may not be the correct David Robinson.
