Edward John Perkins was born on 08 Jul 1901 in Kansas, the son of John and Augusta Perkins. He had two siblings, Augusta and Theodore. His father died between 1910 and 1920. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1920.
On 14 Sep 1920, he entered K-State, studying agriculture. He attended one year.
He lived in the Phi Beta Sigma Chapter House, 1020 Colorado, during his year at K-State. The 1930 census shows him working at a packing house in Kansas City, Missouri.
Edward Perkins, born 08 Jul 1902, died in Wyandotte, Kansas, on 15 May 1990. This may or may not be the same man.
