  • Gale Virtual Reference Library includes encyclopedias and reference resources on many different topics.
  • TOPICsearch covers social, political, and economic issues, scientific discoveries, and other popular topics.

News

  • America's Newspapers includes full text of current issues and archives of over 600 U.S. Newspapers including the Manhattan Mercury and Kansas City Star.
  • General OneFile includes articles on a wide range of topics.

Medicine and Health

  • ReferenceUSA provides contact information and profiles for U.S. businesses, residents and health care providers.
  • MedlinePlus includes definitions and explanations for a variety of health and medicine topics.
  • HealthFinder.gov includes important health information from the U.S. Government.
  • Health and Wellness Resource Center provides access to medical journal and magazine articles, a medical encyclopedia, and dictionary.
  • Kansas Health Online has tools for comparing hospitals, finding doctors, and making healthy lifestyle choices.

Science

  • Science.gov searches information from the U.S. government on science, including recent research findings.
