Resources to Use at Home

Majors at K-State

Databases
You can access several databases from home, including Gale Virtual Reference Library, InfoTrac OneFile, and InfoTrac Student Edition. All you need is a Kansas Library Card. Ask for help at your local public library!

Public Library
Browse the 330-350 and 610-650 call number ranges. Ask a librarian if you need help!

Online Magazines

U.S. Government Websites

You can also use Google's U.S. Government search to find more government websites.

Websites

You can also find career information from professional organizations. Try Googling your area of interest. For example, try "teaching and career." Just make sure the sites you're finding are credible - it's good to stick with sites ending in .gov, .org, or .edu.
