ILLIAD

Submit interlibrary loan requests via ILLiad. This system will allow you to not only submit requests, but also to edit them, ask for renewals on loans, and download articles which we receive from other libraries as PDF files.

The first time you use ILLiad, click on "First Time ILLiad users click here to register." Once registered, no personal information needs to be typed on individual request forms. For more information about features of ILLiad, see the https://ksu.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/FAQ.htmlFAQ. To login or register go to the ILLiad login page.

When submitting article requests with ILLiad, please submit a separate request for each article.

ILS does not accept requests over the phone

DOCUMENT DELIVERY SERVICE --for materials owned by K-State Libraries

Interlibrary Services (ILS) provides a courtesy Document Delivery Service for:
  • Faculty
  • University Staff
  • Graduate and Undergraduate Students
  • Distance Patrons

We will scan:

  • Articles and chapters from journals and books in K-State Libraries up to 50 pages in length
  • Articles and short documents from microfiche/microfilm up to 30 pages in length

Please allow 2-5 days (excluding weekends) for processing of requests. This service should not be used for information that is needed immediately. Requests submitted Tuesday - Thursday will be processed faster than those submitted Friday - Sunday as ILS is currently not staffed over the weekends.

When staffing is limited due to Christmas Intersession, Spring Break, resignations and/or illness, this courtesy service may be temporarily suspended. If this occurs, patrons will be contacted by e-mail and asked to refrain from submitting requests until ILS is able to resume the service.

Requests should be submitted via ILLiad. ILS will scan and post PDF files for retrieval from your ILLiad account upon e-mail notification.
