Administration

Libraries' Administration provides leadership and support for the K-State Libraries in its mission to elevate academic success as an integral partner in research, learning, and discovery. 

  • Building Services - provides building access and room reservations.

  • Communication and Marketing - manages event coordination, graphics, and publicity for the Libraries.

  • Financial Services - manages accounts payable and receivable, as well as travel. 

  • Human Resources - manages professional development, staffing, recruitment, and training.

  • IT and Web Services -manages website development and maintenance.

  • Library Planning and Assessment - manages strategic planning and analysis.

Content Management and Scholarly Communications Division 

Responsible for content selection, collection analysis, and monitoring trends in publishing and information delivery. 

Research, Education, and Engagement Division

Responsible for supporting the research and teaching mission of the university through innovative services across all libraries.

Other Units Housed in Hale Library

Provides access and support for technology services to the university.

  • IT Help Desk - provides IT services in support of teaching, learning, research, and service. 

  • Media Development Center (MDC) - a high-end computer lab for video editing, scanning and editing images, developing webpages, creating audio recordings, and more. 

  • Network and Telecommunications Services (NTS) - provides reliable, secure, and high-performance information technology infrastructure for computing, networking and communications.
