Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies

We are the dream mural, Hale Library 4th floor

Located on the 4th floor of Hale Library, the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies provides easy access to information related to multiculturalism and diversity in their broadest sense.

To serve as an interdisciplinary center for students, faculty, staff, and community members who are interested in exploring the reality of human diversity, the changing landscape of American demographics, and the impact of globalization.

A relevant, vibrant service advancing a deep and broad understanding of multiculturalism and diversity to foster mutual awareness, respect, and dialog.

The Dow Endowment, established by Dow Chemical Company in 2001 and used at the discretion of the Dean of Libraries, supports library acquisitions, professional development, and multicultural programming on campus and in the community for which the K-State Libraries is sponsor or co-sponsor.

Funds are made available upon request through the sponsorship application form.
