About the Extramural Funding Awards Database

The Extramural Funding Awards Database provides information about funding (grants, contracts, etc.) awarded by federal, state, local, and private agencies to K-State faculty and researchers. Information in the database includes award title, dollar amount awarded, funding agency, investigators, and the college/department of the investigator(s). Abstracts are not available at this time, but will be added to the database in the near future.

Information in the database is taken from data gathered by the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP) and PreAward Services. Monthly and annual reports of grants awarded to K-State employees can be found at the ORSP Awards site.

The Extramural Funding Awards Database was developed by K-State Libraries and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.

The Database is updated at the end of each quarter and contains information on awards that have received a funding award within the last 5 years. Since some awards receive funding over the course of many years, there may be entries for grants that received their initial funding prior to the 5 year cutoff.

Current coverage is July 2009 - March 2015
