Scope and Contents of the Materials

Administrative records, meeting minutes, publications, photographs, and information about awards and ceremonies from the College of Veterinary Medicine.  The administrative records contain self-studies, statistical data, long-term development plans for the veterinary complex and programs, and information on a partnership with Amhadu Bello University in Nigeria (1969-1977).

The minutes cover faculty, dean's council, and department head meetings.  The awards and ceremonies in this collection pertain to distinguished service awards and commencement.  The publications in this collection are mainly copies of articles that have been assembled together about veterinary medicine.  These reproductions make up the bulk of the earliest material in the collection.
