K-State Libraries Ambassadors

Goals of the Libraries Ambassador program:
- To educate undergraduates about what K-State Libraries can do for them.
- To encourage undergraduates to come to K-State Libraries, take classes, and seek assistance with library research.
- To obtain input from undergraduates in order to facilitate planning.
What is required of Ambassadors?
- Visit classes on campus and present brief talks about K-State Libraries.
- Staff a table during major campus events such as Open House and New Student Orientation.
- Serve as an advisory group to various library teams and committees.
- Attend monthly meetings.
- Participate in other promotional activities such as creating a list of "Library Tips."
Being a K-State Libraries Ambassador is an excellent opportunity and a fun way to gain experience and leadership skills.
