About Gwen:
Gwen supports faculty, staff, and students in navigating the evolving landscape of scholarly publishing, open access, and research data management. Gwen collaborates across campus to promote sustainable and equitable publishing practices, assists researchers with data sharing and compliance requirements, and advances initiatives that increase the visibility and impact of K-State scholarship.

Research interest:
Gwen’s research interests include data sovereignty—the principle that data is subject to the laws, governance, and stewardship of the community where it is collected, ensuring local control over its access, use, and sharing—as well as open science and sustainable models of scholarly publishing.
